This summer I offer hatha yoga class open to all at Park La Perle du lac. These courses are a continuation of my on going  hatha yoga, prenatal  and postnatal yoga classes.

You will find these sessions in the concentration exercises / meditation, stretching, sun salutations, asana (posture), Pranayama (breathing exercises), bandha (contraction), mudra (hand postures) and Yoga Nidra (relaxation)

During these courses, I will not move to advanced postures, inverted postures except Sarvangasana (the position on the shoulders) and Halasana (the position of the plow). You can still find these many postures in yoga classes proposed in Geneva.

The oil offers many benefits to the skin. It reduces dryness, relaxes, prevents aging, protects against extreme temperatures.

Massage is a very important pathway in aromatherapy because essential oils penetrate the skin easily.

The permeability is on three levels: the epidermis, dermis and hypodermis. These three layers are high in fat, which explains the proper circulation of oil through the skin.

The dilution of the essential oil will be in the cold-pressed virgin oil of good quality.

No use of essential oils during the first trimester of pregnancy.

For pregnant and lactating women dosage will be 1%, for adults it will be between 5 to 10%.

Frequency of use: 2 to 3 times a day over the entire body or certain areas such as: the solar plexus, wrists, shoulders, neck and soles of the feet.

You can use these mixtures over the entire body except on mucous membranes and around the eyes. They are for external use only.

To verify that the mixture chosen is compatible with your skin, you can do a skin test: rub a drop of wax on your elbow and wait fifteen minutes to check whether or not an allergic reaction (redness, tingling, itching ).

If an allergic reaction occurs you must use the pure virgin oil on the area to dilute the mixture and stop the reaction. Do not use water because it has no effect on the dilution of the essential oil. Dilute if the essential oil affects the eyes, flush with oil virgin. After fifteen minutes if no reaction is produced, the mixture is compatible.

Pharmacy recommended for the preparation of the mixture: Pharmacy des Eaux VivesAromatherapy women / pregnant, Ms. Isabelle Celardin, rue des Eaux-Vives 16, 1207 Geneva (transport available in Geneva).
